Re:colors & quill length - 2008/05/01 17:07 Yep, my girl Cookie has lots of white quills and they are longer and thicker than the other quills as well. Of course, she doesn't have 30% or more covering her body, so she's not technically a snowflake, I guess, but in my mind she's "close enough". lol. If she was a true snowflake, I'd say she'd be a silver or charcoal one.

She's so cute too -- if you look at her face, she's got about 4-5 white quills along the quills on her head....almost like she has a striped mohawk or something

I also have an albino rescue who has VERY long quills compared to my others. I don't know if that is an albino thing, or just a "her" thing. She was very emaciated when I got her, but always had these thick/long quills. She's since grown into them lemme tell you -- she's a hefty looking girl compared to the tiny dehydrated little girl she was when I first got her.

I don't know what that means....if albinos have longer quills. I'm curious to hear from others
