Thread: Good cage?

    Re:Good cage?

i too would much rather prefer the marchioro cage. its about the same price, cheaper if you get it on sale, and you\'d be surprised how much easier a top opening makes your life, both in terms of cleaning and scooping the hedgie. i also really like the locks the marchioro cages come with

i think the cage you linked to is bigger than my marchioro, so that\'d be a plus. but really, the whole top opening thing far outweighs that in my opinion.

Check out the cage again, some of the smaller cages don\'t have both, but the Super Pet large ones like the one listed DO have the opening on top too.

Ditto on the Marchioro. It\'s relatively the same as the one you have picked out, but the entire top opens up which is great for cleaning. Plus I find the colors more aesthetically pleasing.

If you can get a chance to look at both Marchioro and Superpet side by side in person, do it. I think Petco carries both brands and other pet stores do too. It gives you a better comparison on how the latches work and what you will be happier with for everyday. Personally I like Marchioros.

This is unrelated to the cage issue, but I just have to say that the picture Kraziness has in their signature of the hedgies nursing is beyond adorable!!! :woohoo:
