im at Fort Drum in northern ny. Im also new to hedgies and am looking to purchase my first, however I am having a hard time finding anyone in my area. Just wondering if any one knows of any breeders or other owners in upstate ny.

I was looking for breeders in NY when I first got interested in hedgies. I really wasn\'t impressed with what I found and chose to go out of state. In the end, I\'m really glad I made the trip(s), I have angelic hedgies

I\'m from Long Island, out in East Hampton - and I\'ll be getting my first hedgie in a few weeks from Hamor Hollows, in southern NH (about a 5 hour trip, including three ferries each way).

But I go to school up in Canton, NY, which is about two hours north of Syracuse, and the hedgehog will be coming with me upstate.
