    My question is how do you know that it does not upset their stomach? it's not like they can tell you. All I know is that I will not take that chance with mine.

    It's very easy to tell when your hedgie has an upset tummy, both from their behavior and droppings. However, if you are unsure, you're right - I wouldn't risk something you think could upset their tummy.

    I have definitely seen stool quality improve with yogurt,; I pretty much only give it to them if they're having antibiotics or gastrointestinal distress and it helps a lot.

    I had no idea there was such a thing as coconut yogurt, and I am a huge yogurt fanatic. It's definitely not something that could be obtained where I live.
