horrifying. no words really.
There has been a report that a hedgehog breeder has lost 15 of her hedgehogs immediately after feeding a new bag of Halo spot stew. Please keep her in your thoughts.
While we do not know if the food is to blame or not and whether this is an isolated incident or not, out of an abundance of caution, you should stop feeding this food to your hedgehog. If you need assistance finding another food for your hedgehog feel free to contact me or any of the other hedgehog world breeders. We will let you know any updates as we hear of them

My kids are Sweetie, Harvey the Blondie Bear (hoglets), Llama, and Vlada (toy poodles). RIP Lancik. We miss you so much.
I have heard nothing more about this (and I have looked) so I am un-stickying it and assuming it is an isolated inciident

I am in this breeders area and haven't heard anything besides that and no other animals in the area have had any problems with this food and there has been no recalls on the food either.
