Trying to find something new to feed to my hedgie. wondering if Naturl Balance Original Ultra would be a good one to feed to her or if I would need to mix it with something else?

Sorry for the late reply! If you re going to use it, I would definitely mix it with something else. It is pretty rich, and we have found that feeding foods that are too rich can be hard on hedgehogs' livers.

Check out our feeding and nutrition articles, there is some information in there on what you should look for. Basically, go for a moderate quality food, not a grocery store generic, but definitely not a high quality brand name. I like the Purina Indoor Cat formula, it is decent quality, but not too rich.
