New hedgie owner here. :)

Hello everyone!

I just got a female hedgehog. She is 10 weeks old, salt and pepper in color, and she's very sweet. I haven't really figured out a permanent name for her yet so for now I am calling her Pokey. She seems to have a very nice temperament. She's gentle and although she's just settling in at the moment... whenever I have taken her out she's been curious and friendly. I have been putting a towel on my lap when I hold her so that she has something to borough in. (She really likes that) & I let her climb around on the bed. (She discovered an empty pillowcase and she climbed inside it today.) Very cute. She seems very brave. Even when my dog sniffed her she didn't freak out or anything.. and my boyfriend can hold her too and she's just fine. (Although she's wiggly and sometimes hard to hold on to) I really love her a lot already though and just wanted to share my joy with all of you fellow hedgie owners. I will take some photos of her soon to show you and I'm looking forward to learning more about these lovely little creatures here and getting to know you all.
