Books???

Hey you guys,

We will be getting our hedgie later in Dec,,,,but i have been reading and looking online to get as much info as i can. I will be helping my 9 year old take care of the hedgie...it is a gift for her for Christmas. She asked for this book:

Is anyone familiar with it? Or can recommend one? I know with any book, sometimes further explantion and questions need to asked/answered...but as a guide to my daughter i think it may be helpful.

The Hedgehog Primer by Antigone Means Burlson. http://hedgehogvalley.com/primer.html

She is a respected member here and I met her at Hedgehog Fest one year I have seen others recommend her book for all hedgie owners as a complete guide. Reminds me that I never bought myself a copy, maybe I should add it to my Christmas list...

I also have The Hedgehog by Dawn Wrobel. I thought it has been good so far whenever I have referenced it, someone gave it to me as a gift. It also has lots of color photos that I am sure your 9 yo will enjoy too.

I would be pretty upset! That has been a long time! You did your part trying to buy the book early so you and your daughter can learn what to do ahead of time! I would ask for my money back and try buying it from a different source!
