I have read on here lots of people say it does, try putting carefresh in the search function, maybe it will find some information. I have used it for hamsters and found they smell less than when on shavings. For my hedgies I just use washable liners and change it every day then wash once a week and have potty pads under their wheels to catch the pee. Mine sleep in cosy bags which i make from fleece and furry on the outside. I feel like i have elevated them to 'dog status' in my house lol

I do recommend carefresh ultra to my new adopters. In general, it works well, and tends not to cause any allergic reactions in the hedgehog, or you.

I use the Aspen shavings and my hedgie seems to like them. i dont like the paper because it really can get stuck to their quills.
