    brushing a grumpy hedgehog?

    hi my baby is so grumpy and he stopped quilling a week ago but he jumps when i touch him but i have been taking a baby tooth brush and brushing downwards his back he dosnt seem to mind this and i was thinking if i did this every night when I'm watching tv eventually i will b able to touch him and pet him (ps. at the moment i can not touch him i pick him up in a shirt and hold him in a towel.) is brushing him okay?

    What does he do when you brush him? Are his quills down and relaxed? It won't hurt him being brushed but you want to make sure he likes it

    yea his quills are down and calm when i do it, i do it at ight when he's sleeping in my lap.

    if his quills are calm, just use your hands to touch him. It's better bonding for the both of you and you really need to practice touching and holding him and get your hands used it it.
