Hello from Russia!
Hello everybody! My name is Mary Potapova, I am from Russia, from city Moscow. I am 14. When I grown-up, I want to be a professional hedgehog breeder. The fact is, that all my conscious life, I love hedgehogs and collecting hedgehog stuff. I have a lot of knowledge about hedgehogs: them habit of life, nutrition, breeding, care and treatment, because I am interested in breeding of hedgehogs four years. I dream to develop hedgehog breeding in Russia and enter into International Hedgehog Association. In our country, most people never heard about african pygmy hedgehogs, and they tall about it with astonishment and smile. I want to find "hedgehog" confederates and friends from all over the world and change a conception about Russia, as about lagging nation.

Welcome Mary! Make sure you continue to do your research, breeding hedgehogs is a lot of hard work, and can be very sad. Hard to make money off of too.

Thank you for answer, dzmeadows! I love hedgehogs, and I don`t want to make money on them. I think, it`s cruel. At first, I am going to finish institute, to get a work at home(website maker, for example, it`s very called-for job in Russia)and at the same time work hedgehog breeding. I read a professional book about it, talk with hedgehog breeders and know about all hedgehog problems:infanticide,(and infanteating), complications, connected with pair selection, pregnant and delivery. I think, hedgehog breeding isn`t only interesting work, it is sort of proficiency!=)
