    Water bowl to bottle switch.

Okay so ive had my hedgehog Agnes for about a year. Tonight i built a C&C playpen for her, as i was refilling her water bowl for bed tonight i lifted up her bowl and noticed black hair like stuff. I assumed she shedded(like most mammals) and was oddly stuffing it under her bowl for who knows what reason. A little freaked out i called for my dad, when he came in he told me it was mold! I almost puked. (She likes to tip all her bowls and toys.) I cleaned it of course but put her in a spair pen for the night. Now heres the real problem, dad says i should switch her to a bottle, but i dont think shes ever used one. Any suggestions on how to make sure she switches?

Hi! I have switched about 7 hedgehogs to water bottles and they all do fantastic.
Just watch and see if the water level goes down in the bottle to see if she is drinking.... she will drink from it I think. All mine figured it out.

    God bless and good luck!
By the way water bottle are MUCH cleaner and less hassle.

How did you do it hedgehogowner? I was going to suggest leaving a bowl in as well as adding the bottle for a few days to see if Agnes would take to using the bottle.
