White Lump on Hedgies Foot. Help!

Hello. I have had my Hedgehog Gir for over a year and she will be 2 in November. Within the last 6 months I have noticed a small bump on her foot, almost between her last two toes. Its white, its smooth and kind of reminds me of a zit and its about the size of a pin head.

I called a vet and asked them and was instructed to pop it cause it was likely to be just that. But I couldn't bring myself to do it. And though I do my best to take very good care of her I can't afford to take her into a vet to get it checked out. The lump hasn't grown in size at all and it doesn't seem to bother her at all. She still runs all night long in her wheel. It has broken open once and bled, so during that time I did what I could to keep it clean, thinking that maybe it would be gone when it healed. But its still there. Same size, same place.

I was hoping that someone could help me out! I am worried about my little one, I had a vet tell my once that they are "Tumor Factories".

UPDATE!: So it was just a small abscess. I took her over to the pet store where I buy her food and one of the sales associates took a look at it. She has dealt with this sort of thing before on other hedgies as well as any other small rodents up to dogs and cats. She took care of it right then and there for me, sterilizing a needle and popping it, she removed the abscess for me and even gave me a free bottle of Vetracin for after care. Its only been about an hour and though Gir seems to be really upset with me, her little foot looks so much better. Its not even red! Now I have to make sure to give her lots of meal worms so she can stop brooding ^^

Glad they could help!! It's always hard when you can't go to the vet.

    IT CAME BACK!

Ok, So the bump came back, and its bigger, it is pushing her little toes apart and I am a little worried that it may not be what we thought it was... Any suggestions. Ive called around to a few vets in the area and I am getting no help...

My best guess it that it's some sort of infection under the skin. If it is, antibiotics should help.
