Cookie Exchange?

I\'m hungry for Christmas cookies, but I don\'t want to do all the work by myself. Is anyone here interested in a cookie exchange, or even a \'come to Kelly\'s house and make cookies\' party?

PEOPLE HAVE COOKIE PARTIES!? Are you serious? I\'ve never heard of these kind of parties. I hope you guys aren\'t playing with my emotions because its that time where I need sweets & I\'m a bit tubby to begin with. I don\'t even want to tell Colleen cause she may explode.

Yep cookie parties... the way it worked with the ones I\'ve gone to, everyone makes X amount of cookies ( depending on how many people) then you go and trade cookies. We usually wrapped the up in 1/2 dozens, it\'s a good time B)

Well, there are a couple of ways we can do it:

1. Everyone brings a certain amount of already made cookies (to trade and eat here).

2. Everyone brings a certain amount of dough (one batch per person trading) and an extra batch (or 2) for cooking up here. Then we all eat warm cookies.

3. Everyone brings a Sam\'s Club size portion of a major ingrediant and then some odds and ends and we all make different cookies from scratch.

Either way sounds good to me. And since I will be unable to attend, I will settle for a small bag (say, 2, 3 dozen cookies?) of each type, mailed to me in carefully packed boxes. I will carefully critique each type, try to keep the other judges out of my cookies, and let you know my favorites.
